About us

There are two Cabos. One is for the crowds. The other is for the people who came to feel something.

San José del Cabo is the original town of Los Cabos, built around a shaded plaza and a church that has watched over it since 1730. Mexico's Ministry of Tourism has named it a Barrio Mágico. Cobblestones, bougainvillea, and dinners that turn into long conversations.

Some of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. Turquoise water, golden sand and desert cliffs, all within easy reach:

• Palmilla: calm and swimmable.
• Costa Azul: for surfers and sunsets.

Art you can walk into. Every Thursday evening from November through June, the Art District opens its doors for the Art Walk. Galleries stay lit, musicians play in the streets, and the neighborhood comes alive. You'll already be there.

Where the desert meets the sea. From December to April, whales arrive in the Sea of Cortez. Next to town, the San José estuary is a desert oasis and protected wetland, home to more than 200 bird species.
